PRIESTS DAY OF RECOLLECTION

 

 

       Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, 596 Jefferson Blvd., just off Route 95 in Warwick hosts a monthly afternoon of recollection for diocesan and religious priests usually on the second Monday of each month. (Note October and November changes to third Monday due to holidays.)   Opening with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 1pm, the afternoon will continue with a spiritual conference, time for prayer and individual confession, a second conference, and finally Benediction with Blessed Sacrament, concluding at 2:30pm.  The conferences on various priestly topics will be delivered by two chaplains for the Opus Dei movement in New England: Fr. George Crafts of Providence and Cranston native Fr.
