Dear Parish Family,
According to parish records you have one or more school age children in your family who should be attending the religious education program here at St. Francis parish. Weekly classes are offered for grade 1-5 on Tuesdays at 3:30pm and for grades 6-10 on Mondays at 7pm. All classes take place at the parish school. While grades 1 & 2 focus on First Communion and grades 6-10 focus on Confirmation all school age children who are not attending the parish school should attend religious education and certainly Holy Mass each week.
A special effort is being made this year to recruit all of our school age children who attend public school as well as students in grades 9 & 10 who may attend Catholic high schools. Please make every effort to register your children before Monday, September 15th, so that classes may be properly organized. Classes will actually begin on Monday and Tuesday, September 29 & 30. Please pass this word to new neighbors or to friends who have not been attending in the recent past. Religious Education is urgent!
A registration form which may be copied and which is also available on the Internet at www.stfranciswarwick.com is being enclosed with this mailing. Completed forms with the registration fee may be dropped into the collection basket at Mass on Sunday, slipped through the rectory mail slot or returned by mail to the rectory address.
